Eurydice - The Everlasting Myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. A discussion of the history of the Greek Myth from its origins to today.

The UWEC Theatre production of Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice is just one of many versions of an age-old myth.  Associate Professor of Theatre Erin Hisey will discuss the history of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth, its evolution, and how the UWEC production took shape.  She will be joined by Arthur Grothe, Artistic Director of Theatre at UWEC, and the director of Eurydice.  Come and learn about this timeless story and how it was reimagined for the stage in 2026.
