Floral Interpretations of Fantastic Artwork

Delight your senses and celebrate the coming Spring at this highly anticipated annual event. Area florists create stunning arrangements interpreting works of fine art; a botanical fantasia the whole family can enjoy. Hurry, the exhibit will last only as long as the flowers

 

Call to Artists

Pablo Center at the Confluence is seeking visual artists and florists to participate in the Fabulous Florals & Fine Art. This annual exhibit will run May 15-18, 2025. Fabulous Florals & Fine Arts is a four-day exhibit paring visual art with floral interpretations of each art piece. We invite visual artists to submit images of their completed work to our jury. Artists may submit up to three pieces. Selected works of art will be on exhibit in the James Hansen Gallery and will be the inspiration for a floral designer’s interpretation. Interested florists should contact Erika at erika@pablocenter.org.

 

Interested artists should submit artwork to Erika, erika@pablocenter.org. Please send the images in JPEG format labeled properly with the artist’s name, title of piece and size. 

i.e. name_title_size.jpeg.  You can submit up to 3 pieces, 2D and 3D. Once the selections are made you will receive further instructions and a visual loan agreement to complete.

 

Artwork must be submitted via email

BY APRIL 28, 2025 by 4 PM.

 

Notifications sent BY MAY 6th

 

Selected artwork and paperwork must be delivered to Pablo Center

BY MAY 12th, 2025.

 

Floral arrangements must be delivered to Pablo Center

ON MAY 15th BY 2 PM.

 

The reception will be May 16th from 5-7pm.    The reception will be a social hour open to the public. This show will have a public voting system, guests are asked to pick their top pieces in each category. A chance for you to network with community members and engage in artful conversations.  As a florist this is a free promotional opportunity to show off your talent! 

 

The winners will be announced after the show closes on Sunday, May 18th.
