Pablo Center Code of Conduct for All Users
The Pablo Center at the Confluence is a shared space where creativity, community, and collaboration come together. While each User may have different goals, we all play a role in creating a welcoming, professional, and inspiring environment.
All Users, including artists, renters, sponsors, partners, guests and collaborators, are expected to uphold the following:
Respect and Dignity
Treat all staff, volunteers, artists, partners, and guests with professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times. This includes both in-person interactions and written or digital communication.
We expect all Users to contribute to an environment where people feel safe, welcomed, and valued. Harassment, intimidation, threatening behavior, or disrespectful language will not be tolerated. Differences in opinion may arise, but they must be handled constructively and with professionalism.
Every interaction within the Pablo Center reflects on the shared experience we are creating. Approach all engagements with a spirit of collaboration, patience, and mutual respect.
Equity and Inclusion
Support an environment free from discrimination or harassment of any kind. All activities and interactions within the Pablo Center must reflect respect for individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
Shared Responsibility
Help ensure the success of your event, engagement, or partnership by managing your team, guests, and participants responsibly. Maintain clear communication and accountability throughout your time in the facility.
Contract and Policy Compliance
Adhere to all agreements, policies, and procedures outlined by the Pablo Center. The primary contact or signee is responsible for ensuring that all participants and representatives comply with these expectations.
Care for the Space
Respect the facility and its resources. Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment by properly disposing of waste, using approved spaces and equipment only, and reporting any issues promptly.
Use of Materials and Communications
Ensure that all distributed materials, messaging, and communications associated with your use of the Pablo Center are accurate, respectful, and aligned with a professional standard. Content that is defamatory, misleading, or disparaging toward the organization or others is not permitted.
Collaboration and Approval
When applicable, work collaboratively with Pablo Center staff on materials, logistics, and event execution. The Pablo Center reserves the right to review and approve materials associated with events or public-facing activities within the venue.
Safety and Compliance
Follow all safety protocols, building guidelines, and staff direction. This includes respecting restricted areas, approved capacities, and operational procedures designed to protect all individuals in the space.
Enforcement
The Pablo Center reserves the right to address any behavior that does not align with this Code of Conduct. This may include removal from the facility, restriction of access, or termination of agreements. Repeated or serious violations may result in denial of future use.
Pablo Center Youth Protection Policy
Pablo Center is committed to providing safe, supportive, and respectful environments for youth participating in programs, performances, rehearsals, camps, classes, workshops, educational activities, events, and other activities held at or in partnership with Pablo Center.
The safety and well-being of youth participants is a shared responsibility among staff, instructors, volunteers, partners, visiting organizations, participants, and families.
Expectations for Adults Working With Youth
All adults interacting with youth participants through activities at Pablo Center are expected to:
- Maintain professional and appropriate behavior at all times
- Help create environments that are safe, inclusive, respectful, and supportive
- Treat youth participants with dignity and respect
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, policies, and venue expectations
- Act in ways that prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of participants
- Immediately report concerns related to participant safety, misconduct, harassment, abuse, or policy violations
The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, intimidation, discrimination, or abusive behavior
- Threatening, humiliating, or retaliatory conduct
- Inappropriate physical contact or sexually inappropriate behavior
- Possession or use of drugs or alcohol while supervising youth participants
- Any conduct that compromises participant safety or well-being
Youth Participant Expectations
Youth participants are expected to:
- Treat others respectfully
- Follow instructions and safety expectations
- Respect personal boundaries, facilities, equipment, and shared spaces
- Help contribute to a positive and inclusive environment
Bullying, harassment, violence, unsafe conduct, or behavior that disrupts activities or compromises the safety of others will not be tolerated.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone who witnesses or experiences conduct that may threaten the safety or well-being of a youth participant is encouraged to report concerns to Pablo Center administration, event leadership, or program staff immediately.
Reports will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
Screening & Additional Requirements
Certain programs, organizations, productions, or youth activities hosted at Pablo Center may require additional safety procedures, background checks, supervision standards, training, waivers, or youth protection requirements.
Participating organizations, staff, volunteers, and partners are expected to comply with all applicable policies and requirements.
Corrective Action
Pablo Center reserves the right to remove individuals, restrict participation, deny access to facilities, or take additional corrective action when behavior violates this policy or compromises the safety or well-being of youth participants.
