Black Violin blends classical, jazz, hip-hop, and funk into a genre-defying sound that’s entirely their own. Led by classically trained violinists Kev Marcus and Wil B, and joined by their dynamic DJ, the group has collaborated with stars like Alicia Keys, Kanye West, and Aretha Franklin. Inspired by jazz great Stuff Smith, Black Violin is breaking boundaries—on global stages and in classrooms—proving that music has no limits. Their mission goes beyond performance, championing music education and inspiring the next generation to dream big and think differently.
