In celebration of Larry Stark's esteemed career as an artist spanning from 1967 – present. Larry Stark is a conceptual artist and printmaker living in Augusta, Wisconsin. Committed to a lifelong role as an artist, Larry has to date produced 850 insightful conceptual works observing both the beauty and homogenization of the American landscape. His art has been exhibited by national public institutions including: The Museum of Modern Art, The Smithsonian Institution, The National Gallery of Canada, The Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University and The Detroit Institute of Art. Larry has had one person exhibitions at over fifty public institutions including The Chicago Art Institute, as well as gallery representation with Castelli Gallery in New York and The Morgan Gallery in Kansas City.
Highways, bridges, barges, landscapes, maps, people, fish, and even “spam” emails have been the center of Larry’s work
